A prayer in these uncertain times

These are worrying times; when nothing seems certain; when advice changes daily; when hope appears lost.

So much of our world is turned upside down at the moment. People are finding themselves facing an uncertain future, not knowing if they will have a job, not knowing who will be affected by Covid-19, just not knowing why things are the way they are.

There is one thing that we can be certain of, we have an unchanging God whose very nature is to love and have mercy. He is steadfast and true and nothing will change Him. We have a hope in Jesus, a hope that never dims. The is a hope that can sustain even in the darkness. Our God is good and our God loves us.

If you are feeling uncertain, unsure, scared, lonely, despondent - take heart for God knows you, He loves you and He is waiting to listen to you and to walk with you.

I am the light of the world. whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.
— John 8:12

And pray this prayer:
