Bishop Of Warrington's Business Lunch

On the 4th of April the Right Reverend Richard Blackburn, Bishop of Warrington, hosted a business lunch in partnership with MitE and the University of Chester.

Business, church and community leaders joined University staff and students for a meal at the University of Chester's Warrington Campus and Sarah Blackie, Head of Operations at Papyrus spoke to us about the work that her organisation does in preventing young suicide.

Papyrus, a Warrington-based charity, work with young people in schools, universities and prisons and operate a helpline for people who are contemplating suicide and also those worried that friends or relatives might be at risk.

We'd like to thank Sarah for her fantastic presentation, Shelley Hanvey and the University of Chester team for providing the food and venue and Bishop Richard for his input.

If you are interested in attending future business lunches then send your name on to admin@mitechaplaincy.com and we will add you to our list.
