Struggling? Find help here:
There are times when all of us struggle but sometimes it can feel like things are too much, that we can't cope. The good news is that it's ok to not feel ok and there are lots of resources out there for people who need help. Here are some simple things that you can do if you're struggling right now:
1. Speak to a friend or colleague:
This can feel like the hardest thing in the world to do but sometimes we just need to ask for help. It isn't always obvious to others that we're finding things difficult so telling someone about how you're feeling can help them to be more aware as well as giving you the chance to talk.
2. Make an appointment with a mental health professional:
Whether it is a trip to your GP or a counselling service it is never a bad idea to talk to a professional about your mental health. Speaking to someone who is trained in mental health issues means you have somewhere to share your feelings in a safe, judgement free environment and get the best possible care and advice to help you to process what you are experiencing.
3. Reach out to someone urgently if you need to:
If you feel like you can't cope anymore or if you are contemplating suicide then please follow one of the links below to speak to someone straight away. It is always worth reaching out for help and through these organisations you can be speaking to someone who is ready to listen in a matter of moments.
